Where an existing component does the job properly, Aires uses it. Where it doesn't, we make our own.
The bridge plate and control plate are manufactured specifically for Aires and finished in matching Cosmo Black, creating a consistent finish across the instrument rather than an approximation assembled from unrelated parts.
The custom bridge has been engineered around the B-Bender system itself. Five strings pass conventionally through the body, while the B string follows its own dedicated path through the B-Bender mechanism and across the titanium Gotoh saddles. The bridge plate is specifically relieved to accommodate that path cleanly.
A Hipshot Parsons/Green B-Bender is integrated directly into the body, but using it is entirely the player's choice. The mechanism can be locked when it isn't required, allowing Aires to be played exactly like a conventional fixed-bridge guitar. When you want it, it's already there.
Gotoh locking tuners and titanium saddles complete a hardware system selected — and where necessary redesigned — around reliability, serviceability and the realities of professional use.
Nothing added for the sake of it. Nothing compromised to make it fit.
